Absolute Service & Contents, partnered with Trinity Lutheran Church (Utica) L.E.R.T. Team to help restore hope for a local church home in Detroit. Charity Lutheran in Detroit, is an amazing church led by Pastor Steven Essenburg. The church actually owns a few homes in the immediate area, and provides affordable housing to local residents. Recently the home's sewer line cracked which caused a large backup into the basement that needed replacement and then cleanup which was outside the capacity of the church.
So with need and looking for help, Pastor Essenbug reached out to another local church, Trinity Lutheran in Utica, MI and discussed the problems with Pastor Lou Stier, who is their social service pastor and leads the Trinity L.E.R.T (Lutheran Early Response Team) Program. The Trinity LERT Program services local emergent times of need in the way of flood clean-up, food service, first aid, flood buckets, chain saw crews and most important prayer and signs of peace and friendship to give hope in times of need.
Pastor Stier, reached out to Absolute, and all of us at Absolute said we were Absolutely ready to serve!
The entire Absolute crew would like to express a very sincere thank you to Trinity Lutheran and Charity Lutheran churches for allowing us to partner with you on this project.
